Our story

More than an alternative to plastic

We started Safra because the plastic waste crisis burdening our landfills and waterways deserved a practical answer, one that works for real foodservice operations rather than headlines.

We envision products moving in a circle: grown from agricultural raw materials, manufactured responsibly, composted after use, and returned to enrich the soil. But vision alone doesn’t serve lunch. That’s why we’re equally focused on serving and educating our customers, keeping every product stocked in our Fremont warehouse and shipped out the moment you need it.

Today we supply restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries, airports, schools, supermarkets, caterers, and foodservice operators across the Bay Area with quality products, honest advice, custom packaging programs, and delivery you can set your prep schedule by.
